Data Query

Worker Settings page lets you manage and configure the Report Worker that is responsible for managing data queries and processing tasks. You can embed data query services directly into the Report Worker using the following option:

Use embedded data query

The Use embedded data query switch controls whether the data queries for certain data types are embedded directly into the report worker or through the server services. By default, the switch is disabled (False).

To enable the Report Worker to execute data queries within its process, set the Use embedded data query switch to True. Click Save Changes to apply.

When enabled, the following data types support using the embedded data queries:

• Direct Datasets

• Data Sources

• Semantic Models
