The Inspector Panel provides options to configure the overall appearance and behavior of the notebook, as well as global settings that apply to all chart blocks within it.

These settings apply to the entire notebook.
Page Width – Select how the notebook pages are displayed.
Standard: Displays the notebook at a fixed page width.
Full: Expands the notebook to the full width of the screen.
Parameters – Configure parameters to use throughout the notebook.
Global Filters – Add and manage global filters that affect all data-bound elements in the notebook.
Language Resources – Select language resources from the dropdown.
Language resources are managed in the Resource Portal.
Note: If you do not have access to the Resource Portal, contact your organization administrator.

These settings apply to all chart blocks in the notebook, allowing you to maintain a consistent look and feel across multiple visualizations.
The settings affect the following chart blocks:
Column Chart, Stacked Column Chart, Percent Stacked Column Chart, Bar Chart, Stacked Bar Chart, Percent Stacked Bar Chart, Line Chart, Area Chart, Stacked Area Chart, Percent Stacked Area Chart, Combined Chart, Pie Chart, Donut Chart, Scatter Chart, Bubble Chart, Funnel Chart, Treemap Chart, KPI Chart, Pivot Table, Data Table, KPI Matrix, Label Slicer, and Map.
Customize the title font style, size, color, weight, and italicization.
Customize the content font style, size, color, weight, and italicization.
Choose a background color for all chart blocks.
You can select a color from:
The document theme
A custom color
A web color
Define a color palette for chart blocks.
A palette includes a selection of seven theme colors. You can:
Select from available theme palettes,
Choose a custom theme, or
Create your own custom color palette.
Set the opacity level for charts using a slider (0–100%).
Round the edges of chart blocks.
A radius of 0 keeps corners at a sharp 90° angle.
Toggle On to display chart colors as gradients.
Add internal spacing around the content within chart blocks.
Border Color: Choose a color for the chart border.
Border Width: Specify the thickness of the border.
Border Radius: Round the border corners.
Add a shadow effect to chart blocks.
Choose from:
None
Inner
Outer
Both
Then, select a shadow color and set its thickness to Thin, Medium, or Thick.

These settings define how chart blocks appear when no data is available.
Content: Enter the message displayed when no data is found.
The default text is “No data found.”
Text Align: Choose text alignment — Left, Center, or Right.
Vertical Align: Adjust the vertical position of the text using a numeric value.
Font: Customize the font style, size, color, weight, and italicization for the “no data” text.
Background Image: Upload a background image to display when no data is available.
Image Size: Determine how the image is scaled:

These settings define how chart blocks display null or blank data values.
Show Null As: Specify how null values are displayed.
The default value is [NULL].
Show Blank As: Specify how blank values are displayed.
The default value is [Blank].
