Ports in Firewall
As we have seen, Wyn Enterprise can be deployed on different operating systems. For network security, there are firewall programs on these operating systems. The network administrator needs to set up the rules on the firewall hardware or routers. In general, if the customer wants to expose Wyn Enterprise to the public internet, he or she only needs to allow the port 51980 to be accessed, if the customer does not change the default port of the portal.
In case a firewall is blocking an outbound connection, you may need to open ports in your firewall in order to access the portals -
- 443: default port used by 'https'
- 51980: default port used by portal
