Change the Data Format of a Measure

Format how a measure is displayed — as a number, percentage, currency, date, or custom value — across your dashboard or for a single visualization.

Change Format for All Visualizations

To apply formatting globally:

1. In the Data Binding panel, find the measure.

2. Click the gear icon next to the measure name.

   
   

   
   

   
   

3. Select Edit Format.

4. In the dialog, choose a data type (e.g., Percentage, Currency) and configure decimals or symbols.

   
   

   
   

   
   

5. Click OK.

This change applies to all visualizations using this dataset.

Change Format for One Visualization

To override formatting in a specific visualization:

1. Select the visualization.

2. In the Data Binding panel, find the Value section.

3. Click the ellipsis (...) next to the measure.

   
   

   
   

   
   

4. Select Data Format.

5. Choose the format and options, then click OK.

This applies only to the current visualization.
