Tooltips are small popups that appear when a user hovers over data points or cells in a dashboard. They display relevant information tied to the underlying data, making dashboards more interactive and informative.
In Wyn Dashboards, tooltips can be customized in two ways:
Scenario-level customization allows you to control which data appears in the tooltip and how it looks for a specific chart or visual component.
Dashboard-level customization lets you define consistent tooltip styling—such as font, background, and borders—across all scenarios in the dashboard.
Use the articles below to learn how to apply and manage tooltip customizations:
Customize Scenario Tooltip: Configure tooltip content and appearance for an individual chart, table, or visual scenario.
Customize Dashboard Tooltip: Apply consistent styling to all tooltips in a dashboard from a single location.
Note: Scenario-level settings take priority over dashboard-level settings. If both are applied, the scenario tooltip configuration overrides the dashboard tooltip styling.
