The Explorer tab in the dashboard designer provides a hierarchical view of all components on the current dashboard page. It shows the current selection and lets you easily navigate, select, or manage other dashboard items.
Note: The Explorer tab is visible only if the Show Dashboard Explorer setting is enabled in the Dashboard Settings section of the Admin Portal.
Scenario Tree View:
Displays all dashboard scenarios (visual components) on the current page in the order they were added. You can select any scenario by clicking its node.
Tab Containers:
Lists all child tab pages.
Clicking a tab node selects the parent tab container (tab pages themselves are not selectable).
Selecting a scenario in a non-active tab automatically switches to that tab and selects the scenario.
Multiple Selection:
Hold the Ctrl key to select multiple nodes in the tree.
Toggle Visibility:
Each scenario has an eye icon that controls its Visibility property (also available in the Inspector tab).
Eye icon: Visible scenario
Eye-off icon: Hidden scenario
You can still select a hidden scenario and modify its properties in the Inspector.
Groups and Containers:
Hiding a group or container disables selection of its children.
Toggling a group's visibility affects all its children—setting it to visible/invisible also updates each child’s visibility property.
