3D Column ECharts offer a dynamic and visually immersive way to analyze complex data. By incorporating depth and perspective, these charts go beyond standard column charts to help identify patterns, trends, and hierarchies more effectively.
Go to the Resource or Document Portal.
Click + Create > Create Dashboard.
Choose a Blank Dashboard or a template, then click Create.
In the Custom Visualization tab, drag the 3D Column Chart (ECharts) to the design area.
Select the chart and choose a dataset from the Choose Data dropdown.
Drag fields into Values, Axis (Category), Legend (Series), and Tooltip.
Optionally, choose a Drill Down Mode: Default, Pre-set Targets, or Pre-set Path.
Use the gear icon in the Data Field containers to:
Aggregate values (Sum, Avg, Max, etc.)
Apply Quick Functions (Ranking, Moving Average, etc.)
Filter data
Rename or Remove fields
Use the Action Bar to:
Apply Filters
Sort values
Use Conditional Visualization
Modify Data Binding
Enable Focus mode
Maintain Color Assignments: Toggle between custom and palette colors.
Shape: Choose Cube or Cylinder.
Mark Points: Show min/max values.
Auto Gradient: Enable gradient coloring.
Canvas Padding: Adjust chart layout.
Custom Options: Use JavaScript for advanced behavior and style.
Entrance Animation: Choose animation style, delay, and duration.
Automatic Carousel: Highlight columns one at a time.
Zoom Axis: Enable and customize zoom controls.
Include All Dimensions: Show labels even for null values.
Scenario Name: Label your chart.
Cross Filter: Sync filters across the dashboard.
Jump To: Link to other reports or dashboards.
Auto Refresh: Set polling or real-time updates.
Click Action: Define click behaviors like show a tooltip or jump.
Context Menu: Enable Keep, Exclude, Add Monitoring, etc.
Show/hide labels, set format (Series, Category, Value)
Choose display unit (Thousands, Millions, etc.)
Customize label font, position, and mode
Show/hide axis, grid lines, tick marks, and title
Set axis line type, color, and width
Adjust label direction, overflow handling
Customize fonts and axis layout
Define max/min values, intervals, units, format
Customize axis line, grid lines, and tick marks
Show/hide title, set label direction
Apply reverse scale or split area coloring
