Go to the Resource or Document Portal.
Click + Create and select Create Dashboard.
Choose a Blank Dashboard or a template.
In the Custom Visualization tab, drag and drop Column Chart (ECharts) onto the design area.
In the Data Binding panel, choose a dataset.
Drag fields into the following containers:
Values – Numeric values you want to measure
Axis (Category) – The group or category (e.g., months, regions)
Legend (Series) – Series to compare (e.g., product lines)
Tooltip – Extra fields that appear on hover
Optional: Use the Drill Down dropdown to enable detailed exploration. You can choose from Default, Pre-set Targets, or Pre-set Path modes.
Click the gear icon next to a data field to:
Aggregate data (e.g., sum, average, count)
Apply Quick Functions for advanced metrics (rank, running total, etc.)
Filter data to show only relevant information
Rename fields for clarity
Remove unwanted fields
Use the Action Bar (above the chart) to:
Sort or filter the chart visually
Add reference lines for benchmarks
Change data bindings on the fly
Apply conditional visualization rules to highlight trends
Open the Inspector Panel to personalize your chart:
Style & Color
Change chart type (bar, stacked, etc.)
Use custom colors or default palettes
Adjust opacity and corner radius
Add color gradients or highlight high/low values
Animation
Choose entrance animations and set timing delays
Data Labels
Turn labels on/off, choose layout (inside/outside), and customize fonts
Use patterns like “Category, Series (Value)”
Axes
Customize both X (Category) and Y (Value) axes:
Show/hide axis lines, tick marks, grid lines, and titles
Set axis position, scale, intervals, and label format
Add split areas or control label overflow
Zoom & Interaction
Enable zoom axes for large datasets
Use tooltips and carousel mode to highlight individual values

Custom Behavior: Use JavaScript (e.g., setTimeout, myChart) for real-time updates and interactivity
Limit categories to improve readability
