Filtering Scenarios

Filters allow you to narrow down the data displayed in a scenario so you can focus on the values that matter most.

Opening the Filter Panel

  1. Select the scenario you want to filter.

  2. In the top-right corner of the scenario, click the funnel icon.

  3. In the filter window, click + Add to create a new filter.

The filter window has two tabs: Value Range and General.


Value Range Tab

The Value Range tab allows you to filter records based on numeric or date ranges.

  • Target Field: By default, Wyn selects the data attribute the scenario is bound to.

    • To change it, open the Data Slot dropdown and select a different data attribute.

  • Range Options: You can choose from the following conditions:

    • Equal To

    • Not Equal To

    • Greater Than

    • Greater Than or Equal To

    • Less Than

    • Less Than or Equal To

    • Between

    • Not Between

  • Inclusive/Exclusive Bounds:

    • For Between and Not Between, you can toggle the edge conditions:

      • >= or >

      • <= or <

  • Parameters:

    • Click the pencil icon to add a parameter.

    • Choose Use new parameter to create one, or select from previously created parameters.

    • Creating a new parameter opens the Parameter Setting dialog (see Parameters for details).


General Tab

The General tab lets you filter by specific values of the data attribute bound to the scenario.

  • Search: Use the search box to find values quickly.

  • Select Values:

    • Click (All) to select or deselect all values.

    • Select individual values from the list.

  • Sort: Click Sort to reorder the values.

  • Parameters: Use the pencil icon to add a parameter (new or existing).

  • Exclude Matched:

    • By default, this is set to false (include selected values).

    • Set to true to exclude selected values instead.


Applying and Saving Filters

  • Apply: Preview the filter effect on your scenario.

  • OK: Save the filter to your scenario.

  • Cancel: Discard changes.
